Wandiligong Nut Festival
The Wandiligong Nut Festival is more than about nuts with a full weekend of live music and activities for the whole family.
About
The Wandiligong Nut Festival is held at the historic Alpine Park, nestled among heritage trees and gums near Morses Creek. The picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for celebrating the best the region has to offer.
The festival was established in 2001 by three visionary local women. Their goal was to unite the small, isolated rural community around themes of fun, laughter, and celebration.
Over the years, the festival has grown into a beloved tradition, celebrating the autumn harvest time in the Alpine region.
It’s an opportunity for locals, tourists, growers, and makers to come together and revel in the bounty of chestnuts, walnuts, and hazelnuts unique to the area. The festival also serves as a platform for local fundraising efforts.
