As the sun sets on Easter Saturday, cheer on the convoy of illuminated floats in the Torchlight Procession, concluding with a spectacular firework display over the city.

Don’t miss the iconic Gala Parade on Easter Sunday where you’ll experience the excitement of Dai Gum Loong, the world’s longest Imperial Dragon, weaving his way through the historic streetscapes of Bendigo.

The Beechworth Golden Horseshoes Festival is an annual celebration which runs over four days during the Easter long weekend.

The weekend is chocker block full of activities for the whole family with both a Fun Carnival and the Grand Parade which takes place at the Beechworth town centre.

Free live music across multiple stages fills the air of the Beechworth Golden Horseshoes Festival.  Roaming performers in costume and on stilts add a touch of colour to the festivities.

Multiple markets take place across the weekend featuring  a fantastic collection of craft and product stalls along with a variety of food stalls.

Admission is free, so gather your loved ones and immerse yourself in the rich culture and charm of Beechworth at this unforgettable event.
