Ramadan Nights Lakemba is a spectacular month-long event that is a vibrant, global food bazaar which runs from dusk to dawn.
Break your fast or try new foods, and experience culture and tradition as part of the celebration of Ramadan.
You’ll be met with an array of street food vendors throughout the month.

Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year in Islamic culture. The month of Ramadan is spent by Muslims fasting during the daylight hours from dawn to sunset. At the end of each day’s fast Muslims gather for Iftar, the evening meal to break their fast.
Ramadan Nights Lakemba takes place on Haldon Street and Railway Parade. Located in the heart of Greater Sydney it is easily accessible by public transport. Road closures will be in place, so we recommend taking public transport to visit us at Ramadan Nights. Lakemba Station will bring you directly to the heart of the event.

The Show is a celebration of Australian culture, from rural traditions to modern day lifestyles and provides unique experiences for everyone.

The inaugural Show was held in 1823 and was run by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, a not-for-profit organisation that promotes and rewards agricultural excellence.
