Laidley Spring Festival

The Laidley Spring Festival is an annual celebration of spring in the Lockyer Valley, Queensland, Australia.

With a history spanning over 60 years, this vibrant festival attracts thousands of visitors each September to immerse themselves in the fairy tale ambiance of the valley.

Festival Program

The festival program is packed with a variety of events and activities spread across three days[2][6]:

Twilight Feast & Fest

The Laidley Recreational Reserve comes alive on Friday night with twinkling lights, food trucks, live entertainment, and a boutique makers market. Visitors can grab a picnic blanket and enjoy an evening of food, music, and great company.

Festival Precinct

Saturday morning kicks off with Lockyer Valley’s largest annual country market, offering food trucks, fresh flowers, and handmade products. The stage program begins at 11am, and visitors can explore unique spring-inspired exhibitions created by community groups. The highlight of the day is the Annual Grand Street Parade at 10am, showcasing decorative floats, heritage trucks, vintage vehicles, community groups, and marching bands.

Bee Happy Day

Sunday is dedicated to family fun at the Forest Hill School of Arts Hall from 8am-12pm. Children can enjoy arts and craft workshops, live theatrical performances, face painting, dancing, and live music. A local artisan market and scrumptious food complete the morning’s festivities.
